Terms and conditions
Please note: no refunds once the kit is delivered. FirstLight OS is digital content that you get immediately as a download. Before you pay, you agree that delivery starts straight away and that you therefore lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. Once the download is available, the purchase cannot be cancelled or refunded, including if you change your mind.
This does not affect your rights if the kit is faulty or not as described (see section 7).
1.Who we are
FirstLight OS is run by HD Invest, CVR 40161511, Prøvensvej 24, 2610 Rødovre, Denmark. Email: [email protected].
Orders are handled by our online reseller, Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), which acts as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, issues your receipt and invoice, and collects VAT. Their buyer terms also apply to the payment.
2.What you buy
FirstLight OS is a digital kit: instruction files, templates, prompts, guides and (from Operator) a spreadsheet, which you install in an AI assistant that you choose and pay for yourself, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude or Gemini. It is sold in three levels, Foundation, Operator and Command, and as team licences. Each level includes the levels below it.
The kit is not software as a service, a subscription, a course or personal consulting. An AI account is not included. What each level contains is described on the product page.
3.Prices and payment
Prices are one-off payments in euros. For consumers, the price shown at checkout includes VAT. Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number can enter it at checkout. You pay by card or another method offered at checkout. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
4.How the agreement is made
The agreement is made when your payment is confirmed. You then get an order confirmation and receipt by email. The agreement and these terms are in English. Please save or print them; we keep a copy of the terms that applied to your order.
5.Delivery
Delivery is immediate. Your download link is shown right after payment and sent to you by email. Download the files and keep a copy. If a link stops working, write to us and we will send a new one at no cost.
6.Right of withdrawal: why it does not apply after delivery
Consumers who buy online normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Danish Consumer Contracts Act (forbrugeraftaleloven). For digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, that right ends once delivery has started, provided that you:
- expressly agreed, before paying, that delivery starts immediately, and
- acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (forbrugeraftaleloven § 18, stk. 2, on digital content).
We ask for both before you are sent to checkout, and your order confirmation repeats them. Because the kit is delivered immediately after payment, the right of withdrawal ends when the download is made available, and we do not refund purchases after that, whether you have downloaded the files or not and whatever the reason, including a change of mind.
Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal. All sales to businesses are final.
7.If something is wrong
The kit must match its description. If files are missing, cannot be opened, or the kit is materially different from what we describe, write to us within a reasonable time after you notice it, preferably within two months. We will first fix the problem or send you corrected files. If we cannot do that within a reasonable time, you may get a price reduction or, if the fault is significant, cancel the purchase and get your money back.
As a consumer, your statutory right to complain about defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act (købeloven) applies, generally for two years from delivery. Nothing in these terms limits that right.
The following are not faults: the results an AI assistant produces, changes that an AI provider makes to its own tool, plans or prices, or the kit not suiting your way of working.
8.Your licence
A single licence is for one person. A team licence covers the number of named people (seats) on your receipt. You may adapt the kit for your own use, but you may not resell, share, publish or pass it on to people your licence does not cover. The full rules are on the licence page.
9.Upgrades and updates
You can move to a higher level by paying the difference in price, using a personal upgrade code we send you on request. Upgrade codes are for the person who bought the lower level and cannot be shared. If we update the level you bought, we may send you the new version at no extra cost, but we do not promise updates.
10.Your responsibility
The kit works inside AI tools that you choose and control. You are responsible for which tool you use, for the data you put into it, and for following your employer's policies and the law, including data protection rules for customer data. Always read AI output before you act on it or send it. The kit is built so that nothing is sent without your approval; keep it that way.
11.Liability
We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost sales, lost profit or lost data, or for decisions you make based on AI output. For business customers, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the order in question. For consumers, we are liable according to the general rules of Danish law, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
12.Personal data
How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy.
13.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applied when you placed your order applies to that order.
14.Complaints and governing law
If you have a complaint, please write to [email protected] first. We reply within five working days.
If we cannot agree, consumers can complain to Nævnenes Hus, Center for Klageløsning, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, naevneneshus.dk. Consumers living in another EU country can get help from the European Consumer Centre in Denmark, forbrugereuropa.dk.
These terms are governed by Danish law, and disputes are settled by the Danish courts. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country.
