15 copy-paste AI prompts for B2B sellers
These are the prompts we use most in day-to-day B2B selling. Each one works in ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Gemini. Replace the brackets, paste in your own context, and always read the result before you use it.
Tip: the more the AI knows about your job, the better every prompt works. Spend ten minutes on making AI write like you first.
Before the meeting
I'm meeting [company] about [topic] on [date] with [names and roles]. Here's what I have: [invite, emails, notes]. Write a one-page brief: who's in the room and what they care about, where the deal stands, what was promised last time, three questions to ask, one risk. Use only this information and say where you're unsure.
Summarise everything in these notes and emails about [company] into a 10-line account snapshot: what they do, who we know there, what they've bought, open opportunities, last contact and the next logical step. [paste]
I'm meeting a [role] at a [industry, size] company that is looking at [topic]. Suggest 8 open discovery questions that help me understand their situation, priorities and decision process. No leading questions.
After the meeting
Write a follow-up to [name] after today's call, under 150 words. My notes: [notes]. Summarise what they said in their words, list who does what by when, end with one next step. Write in my style: [describe or paste an example].
Turn these rough call notes into: a 3-line summary, decisions made, open questions, and next steps with owner and date. Don't add anything that isn't in the notes. [paste]
From these call notes, write a short CRM update: stage, next step, next step date, risks, and a 2-line summary. [paste]
Keeping deals moving
[Name] at [company] hasn't replied since [date]; we last discussed [topic]. Write a short check-in (under 80 words) that adds something useful instead of "just checking in".
Here's my pipeline export: [paste or upload]. List deals with no next step, next steps in the past, close dates in the past, and deals with no contact for 21+ days. Then suggest the three deals I should act on first and why.
A customer is likely to say "[objection]" about [product or offer]. Give me three honest ways to respond, each in two sentences, and one question to understand what's behind the objection.
Writing and proposals
Make this email half as long without losing any facts or commitments. Keep my tone. [paste]
Write a half-page executive summary for a proposal to [company]: their situation, what we propose, the outcome they can expect and the next step. Use only these facts: [paste].
Here's an email from a customer who is unhappy about [issue]. Draft a calm, short reply that acknowledges the problem, says what we'll do and by when, and doesn't over-promise. [paste]
Planning your week
From my email of the last 24 hours and today's calendar, list: what needs me today (max 5), what can wait, and accounts that have gone quiet. Be short and don't invent tasks.
Based on this week's emails, meetings and pipeline changes, write my Friday review: what moved forward, what slipped, what I learned, and the first three things to do on Monday. [paste or connect]
Turn this week's notes into a 6-line update for my manager: wins, risks, forecast changes and where I need help. Plain and factual. [paste]
