A daily AI morning brief for sellers

By Hasse Dalberg · Updated 12 October 2026 · 3 min read

An AI morning brief is one short message at the start of your day that tells you what needs you, what can wait and what is already handled. It turns a full inbox, a busy calendar and a long pipeline into a list of three to five things.

What goes into a good morning brief

The point is the first section. If it is longer than five items, the brief isn't doing its job.

The prompt

If your AI tool can see your email and calendar, you can ask it directly. If not, paste in today's calendar and your unread emails.

Prompt · Morning brief
Prepare my morning brief for today, [date].
Use my email from the last 24 hours, today's calendar and my pipeline [connected or pasted].

Format:
1. Needs me today (max 5 items, most important first, one line each with why)
2. Can wait (one line each)
3. Drafted for my approval (list the drafts you prepared)
4. Watch list: accounts with no contact for 21+ days or deals with no next step

Rules: be short. Don't invent tasks. If you're unsure whether something matters, put it under "Needs me today" with a question mark.

Run it every morning

A brief only helps if it is waiting for you before the day starts. Two options:

Pair the brief with an approval step: the AI may draft replies and follow-ups overnight, but nothing is sent until you have read and approved it.

How it changes the day

Most sellers start the day reacting: opening the inbox and answering whatever is on top. A brief flips that. You start with the three things that matter, and the inbox becomes something you check, not something that runs you.

Want this set up for you?

FirstLight OS sets up the AI you already use (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini) with your job, your accounts and your writing style, and adds daily routines with an approval step before anything is sent. One-off payment, from €100.
